Lancement de la suite Windows Live

Depuis jeudi dernier, Microsoft offre sa suite logicielle Windows Live. Celle-ci est axée sur la communication et le partage des petits et grands moments de votre vie avec les personnes que vous avez à cœur, affirme la compagnie.

Contrairement à ce qu’on pourrait penser, il ne s’agit pas d’applications en ligne, mais bien de programmes qui s’installent dans l’ordinateur.

La suite comprend Windows Live Mail pour le courrier électronique ; Windows Live Photo Gallery pour partager vos photos ; Windows Live Writer qui facilite la publication de billets dans votre blogue ; Windows Live OneCare Family Safety, une application de contrôle parental, une nouvelle version de Windows Live Messenger et d’autres applications de recherche.

Si bon nombre de ces applications étaient déjà offertes dans le site de Microsoft, il est désormais possible de se les procurer en un seul téléchargement. Ces applications gratuites sont encore en version bêta. Vous pouvez faire part de vos commentaires directement dans le site de Windows Live.
